Message When I say continuous, I mean in terms of the look of the weld after everything is said and done. Ridges, pits, cracks, blisters, all of these are high stress points where it will fail before any other place.

On the other hand, you are breaking it down in terms of how the weld is made, not how it looks. Stitch welding is better than continuous welding because it doesn't overheat the parts - its just a little trickier to do.


: I can't judge these welds from the pics, but 'stitch' welding (IE .5 sec on, 1 off) is stronger then regular continuous welding. Check any of your favorite NASCAR chassis...
